4th day of work..

1 more day to weekend!!!! superb happiness!!! hahaa.. today is the 4th day of work at ocbc tampines... job position: polytechnic trainee bank officer... it's a 2 month contract thing.. so when the calender reaches 17 sep 2005, i'll haf to start looking for job again... lets see wat i did since day 1..

day1: report to the HQ at 9am.. reach the tampines office at 10am.. everyone in the office is sooooooo busy that i was totally ignored until lunch time... and when lunch time is finally over, i was told to did up this analysis of OT time for dif sections using pivot table.. PPl FAMILIAR RITE!!! pivot table leh.. haha.. anywayz.. BI distinction nt fake one.. collected the data for 1 1/2 yrs from one huge pile of papers and finished it in less than half a day.. when i told my supervisor she was: huh??? so fast ah??? and the first thing come to mind was: am i suppose to take more time to finish it? anywayz was told to complete a couple of adhoc duties inbtwn.. end of day 1..

day2: report to work at 9am.. but work doesn't start till 10am.. as usual no1 is free to entertain me and the computer does nt haf internet access.. haiz... so finally some1 told me wat my job scope was.. i was attached attached to the investigation section under payment operations.. the main job of this section is when clients performs remittance and for some reason the money either went missing or something happened to it.. the section would haf to investigate.. well.. i'm nt investigating but to help in their work.. when investigation was carried out, the sectin will charged for their services.. and i was thought how to withdraw money from their account, record in the GL account and how to use various system.. and i can assure u i dun like the system bcoz the various system are not link together.. haiz.. imagine the num of times my collegues haf to run btwn dif workstations.. and i finish my work at 4am and start rotting till 630pm..

day 3: as usual work started at 10am.. my supervisor finally gave me work!!!!!!! data collection and put it into excel.. that lasted throughout the day but it's nt done yet...

day 4: continue wif the data collection and by the end of the day i have typed in millions of numbers.. i can type on the number pad without looking at it or the monitor screen.. counted the num of rows i haf input at the end of the day: more than 2000 rows and still counting.. tmr shall finish that up and wait for more work..

got to know more ppl at work and 2 of them are my lunch khakis... these 2 girls are fun ppl to hang out wif and one of them is very gd at suan-ing ppl.. haha... but i will always combine wif her to suan the other girl.. opps!!

anywayz still long long away from my pay day coz i've missed this month pay day... and mr leow has extorted one meal out of my pay... will try very hard nt to remember it.. hahaha... need more mp3s to accompany me during work!!!!
